The three most important questions in life are…
1. Is there a God as the final authority? Did He create us?
2. What is He like? Does He care about us at all?
3. What does He expect from us? Are there consequences?
This determines our eternal destiny, both where we will be living and what we will be doing.
The greatest deception in our society is that we can live anyway we want before our God and not be held accountable for our behavior.
Eternity is a long time to be wrong. The Bible says that “It is appointed once for a man to die and then comes judgment” (Heb 9:27). We get no second chances. Job had a few wise questions many years ago: 1) If a person dies, will he live forever? 2) How can a person be right with God?
You didn’t make you, so you don’t know what’s best for you, especially as a father. It’s never too late to start doing what’s right. Who hasn’t failed as a husband or parent? Failure is an event not a condition. You may have failed, but you’re not a failure. Failure is just an opportunity to begin again more intelligently. Today is the first day of the rest of your life. Let’s travel down the road together to become the kind of man of God, God intended on you to be, “Doing what pleases the Father” (John 8:29).
If you are a man and you’re married, your a leader— a spiritual leader ; and if you have children (no matter what age) you have responsibility to shepherd them like the good Shepherd. How do you do that?
It first starts by knowing what it means to be made in the image of God. Gen 1:27 says, “And God created man in His own image, in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them.”
God our Father wants
to Father through you.
What does it mean and how do we develop better into the image of God for His Glory?
